Lately, I’ve been exploring the different methods for adding zippers to my hand-knitted garments.  I already enjoy adding buttons to my knits but to me zippers can be a more functional finishing element or an edgier embellishment than buttons are and I absolutely adore zippers in colors that contrast with the knitted fabric.

Okay, so I’m fond of zippers.  I’m not so fond of the methods of installation and am on a quest to find the method that suits me best.
