I’ve been working on this cabled throw for a while and it is finally FINISHED!  As you know, I am not a fan of knitting blankets of any kind but this project is for a friend’s mother.  Besides, my friend bartered with me.  I got an adorable quilt in exchange.  Score!

This cabled throw is about 50″x60″ and was knit with Cascade Yarns 220 Superwash Aran (100% merino, of course) in the Pumpkin colorway, courtesy of one of my favorite Chicago shops, Loopy Yarns.  I can’t remember how many skeins it took but I used all of it minus about 10 inches!  Whew!
