I love Fall and Winter and this time of year tends to be my busiest time for knitting.  I love the coziness of all the super plush yarn and textures that are found everywhere throughout this season.

Lately, I have continued my love affair with Malabrigo yarn.  I fell in love with this soft shade called Sandbar in a recent visit to Knot Just Knits in Oak Park, Illinois.  Isn’t it pretty?!

I liked the yarn so much I ended up knitting Prim, a pencil skirt I dreamed up with an elaborate all-over hexagonal cable pattern.This skirt was a relatively quick knit and I’m thrilled with how it turned out.  Prim may even make the rounds at holidayparties this year.
