Here’s one of my latest creations, a sleeve for my iPad mini.
I enjoy knitting year round but I find it hard to knit sweaters, hats, gloves, and even socks when the weather is so warm. I guess that’s because I can’t wait to use my creations. So what is a knitter to do? Knit accessories! There easy, fast, and take small amounts of yarn to knit up.
I like to add cable panels, lace panels, or other textured stitches to make the piece stand out and since the piece is small, I don’t feel any guilt about splurging on some truly delectable yarn for the project. For this iPad mini sleeve, I used Madeline Tosh Vintage. The color is called Envy. I picked out this scrumptious shade during a trip to Loopy Yarns, one of my favorite shops in Chicago.
