I’ve waited all year for this event and Vogue Knitting Live did not disappoint! There was something for ever knitter and every skill level.
There were cool classes like the two part Fresh Fair Isle class and the totally wicked Bespoke Button class, which was all about tailoring your knits with buttons and bands.
The marketplace was also the place to be even if you didn’t attend a class. There were tons of vendors and I totally scored lots of deals, like 50% off a supersized skein of variegated yarns in super cool hand-dyed colors! I also got a mini-kit for fingerless mitts. I totally love fingerless mitts. (Check out last year’s posts)
There where cool fashion shows from Skacel and Koigu and free demonstrations at every turn! I even got a demonstration in spinning and picked up a drop spindle to keep me practicing!
Best of all, it was wonderful being in the company of fellow knitters, crocheters, felters, spinners, and other craft lovers and it was wonderful experiencing all of this with my mom in tow!
I’m also now armed with a ton of new favorite knitting things that I get to share with you in posts to come. Check out the Favorites page for my most favorite thing from this weekend’s trip to Vogue Knitting Live! Enjoy!
